  • Aug. 5, 2023 – The 2023 Annual Florida Authors and Publishers Association President’s Book Awards recognized Eisenhower Babies as a silver medal winner. Read the full press release on my blog.

  • July 27, 2023 – I discuss how the cover for Eisenhower Babies came about in this guest essay for the Brevity Blog.

  • June 20, 2023 – Authority Magazine interviewed me on the book that changed my life and other topics. See the full interview here.

  • May 31, 2023 – The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is the latest place to carry Eisenhower Babies. The center features the work of more than 800 Kentucky artisans in such areas as crafts, art, film, music, books, and specialty foods. Learn more about the center here.

  • March 24, 2023 – The Kentucky Coal Museum in Benham, KY, is now carrying Eisenhower Babies in the museum gift shop. You can learn more about the museum here

  • Feb. 3, 2023 – My guest essay, “Memoirs and Research: When Memories Aren’t Enough,” has been published by the Brevity Blog.

  • Jan. 23, 2023 – The book website Shepherd.com asked me to recommend five books with similar themes as Eisenhower Babies. Read what I came up with here.  

  • Dec. 21, 2022 – A former Tampa Tribune reporter’s memoir about growing up in a Kentucky coal-mining community from the late 1950s to the early 1970s is scheduled for release Jan. 3. Community column item in Tampa Bay Newspapers.
